Position Description and Responsibilities
As EHS Engineer you will be mainly responsible for

  • Establish and improve safety management and environmental management systems and be
    responsible for the supervision of the company’s environmental and occupational health and safety
    management.
  • Responsible for the inspection and supervision of hazardous chemicals and the disposal of
    hazardous chemical packaging.
  • Responsible for the environmental and occupational health and safety management of hazardous
    waste disposal units, lessees and pest control service providers.
  • Organising the identification and risk assessment of hazards and the identification and evaluation
    of environmental factors for the company itself and related parties in the company area by all
    departments.
  • Organising the activities of the relevant departments for environmental operations and
    occupational health and safety operations, compliance with environmental and occupational
    health and safety laws and regulations, site safety inspections, monitoring and measurement of
    poor performance in terms of occupational diseases, safety accidents/incidents, etc.
  • Responsible for implementing the environmental protection guidelines, policies and laws and
    regulations of the state and higher authorities, supervising and managing the company’s
    environmental protection, following up and solving problems of the company’s environmental
    protection work, coordinating the company’s environmental protection work and reporting
    regularly on environmental management performance.
  • Responsible for training employees on safety and environment-related knowledge and supervising
    departments to do a good job in educating and assessing employees on safety techniques.
  • Organize effective rescue of safety accidents, participate in the investigation and treatment of
    various types of safety accidents, make statistical analysis of accidents, report them on time and do
    a good job in the management of relevant archives and data.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor degree majoring in safety management or other related disciplines,
  • Minimum 5 years experience in EHS engineer role
  • Familiar with national and local laws and regulations relating to production safety, fire protection
    and environmental protection,
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • English and Hungarian is a must
  • Experience in Food and Beverage industry is a plus
